Accessibility

Tecnochoc is firmly committed to the principle that the Internet should be universally available and accessible. The company is therefore committed to making its website accessible, in compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 – level AA, and in accordance with the principles of the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which came into force on 28 June 2025.

To this end, we aim to adhere as closely as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1). The above guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with different needs. Adherence to these guidelines is crucial in ensuring that the website is accessible to the widest possible audience, including individuals with disabilities such as blindness, motor impairments, visual impairments, and cognitive disabilities, to name a few.

Numerous adjustments have been implemented to ensure the most inclusive experience possible:

  • Verification using automated tools and manual testing
  • Inclusion of an accessibility widget, which allows users to customise their browsing experience (e.g. text enlargement, high contrast, keyboard navigation) – This widget does not collect personal data and is fully GDPR compliant

Note: though aiming to comply with several AAA level criteria, we hereby formally declare compliance with AA level, in conformity with current regulations.

Contents not fully accessible

Please note that some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible. In particular:

  • Embedded videos from third parties may not include subtitles or transcripts.
  • Some dynamic elements may require further enhancement in terms of ARIA semantics.
  • The visual representation of images containing text does not always meet the minimum contrast ratio requirements.
  • The focus indicator is not fully visible on some interactive elements.

We are committed to addressing these issues.
